- American College of Foot and Ankle
Surgeons
"The American
College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons had the very good fortune of being able to
work with Pam Hemann.
Pam served as our facilitator for a Leadership Training Workshop which we held
for the members of our board of directors and senior staff. She did a
wonderful job of handling a very difficult task and guiding a group of
physicians through a process which will be of great value in the restructuring
of our governance practices and thereby enhancing the effectiveness of our
Board meetings."

- Equipment Maintenance Council
"Pam Hemann took a complex,
cumbersome organizational structure and created a flexible, energized
governance structure and process for Equipment Maintenance Council. Today, whenever
we face serious issues and decisions for the board and the
organization, we talk about "Hemannizing" the problem."

- National
Ski Patrol
"The National Ski Patrol (NSP), a
65-year old individual membership association, hired Association Management
Services in the fall of 2000 to review the governance structure of the
association and to help the board of directors move to a more effective model.
Two years prior to hiring AMS, the NSP had made several attempts to
restructure its board without much success. Over a two-year period, Pamela
Hemann worked closely with the NSP board and the association's membership with
the result of radically changing the working relationship between board,
staff, and the members. AMS helped move the National Ski Patrol from a
geographical representative board election process to a nomination slate process. NSP's
newly-elected board plans to actively continue to improve member services
thanks in no small measure to Pam and her AMS associates."
